To those who fear needles:
I have feared doctors and especially needles since I was vaccinated before first grade. I passed out then and have done the same many times since, often at only the sight of a needle.
Now that I am older and have recently had other health problems that have required blood tests, I am getting more practiced but have had to lie down for these “needle encounters,” which did not always prevent my fainting. I am now occasionally able to sit up for needle insertions, but not all of the time.
My wife, who has had much relief from her fibromyalgia symptoms thanks to Dr. Yang, talked me into trying acupuncture. My shoulder and neck were stiff and sore and I found it difficult to turn around while backing up my car. She assured me Dr. Yang was very gentle and caring. I found relief after the first treatment and didn’t even pass out! I have also had successful treatment for sore teeth due to a new crown.
Not only has Dr. Yang helped my physical symptoms, but acupuncture has helped me overcome my fear of needles!
