Dear Dr. Yang,
In December 2002, I was diagnosed with arthritis in both knees. Due to this diagnosis, by an Orthopedic Doctor, three months of physical therapy was recommended. This method relieved approximately seventy percent of my pain. Therefore, I decided to explore acupuncture. I did not know what to expect during the first treatment. I discovered that the small needles did not hurt. The massage and heat were extremely relaxing and relieved my pain. I was willing to receive more treatments. Since February 2003, I have received five treatments for pain, caused by bursitis, carpal tunnel in my right hand, neuralgia in my left thigh, and arthritis in my knees. Dr. Yang treated these conditions and my pain has decreased in each area.
I am amazed that acupuncture has relieved my pain. I feel more energetic, stronger and able to perform tasks that were so difficult to do since my diagnosis. I highly recommend acupuncture for anyone who is suffering with pain. I also recommend Dr. Yang, who is patient, caring, soft-spoken, and humble. His expertise is evident.
